Semperit Launches New AllSeason-Grip 2

Hanover, Germany, March 31, 2025.

Five years after the successful launch of Semperit's first all-season tire, the traditional Austrian brand is launching a successor in summer 2025: The AllSeason-Grip 2 offers reliable grip in both summer and winter, high mileage and low wear.

In developing the AllSeason-Grip 2, Semperit focused on short braking distances on dry and wet roads, as well as precise handling and grip on winter roads. To this end, the designers have integrated a stiff tread in the shoulder area of the new all-season tire, as well as a new arrangement of the tread blocks.

When driving on winter roads, the highly structured tread pattern with specially shaped sipes and grip edges can safely transfer the forces generated during starting, braking and cornering to the road surface. A tread compound designed for the operating conditions of the new all-season tire also ensures long tread life and low rolling resistance.

New design for increased mileage

In the new design, Semperit has made the contact patch even more uniform, which increases the tire's mileage while sustainably reducing noise emissions and wear. The low rolling resistance and low rolling noise combined with high mileage make the AllSeason-Grip 2 an attractive all-season solution for internal combustion and electric vehicles. The new all-season tire also carries the "EV Compatible" logo on the sidewall.

Semperit will launch the AllSeason-Grip 2 in summer 2025 in 35 sizes between 15 and 20 inches. Depending on the size, the new Semperit all-season tire is approved for speeds up to 300 km/h. This makes it suitable for a wide range of popular passenger cars and SUVs. These include smaller models such as the Seat Ibiza and Mini Cooper, as well as larger vehicles such as the Mercedes C-Class and Škoda Octavia. Sizes are also available for SUVs such as the Tesla Model Y, Hyundai IONIQ 5 and Volvo XC60.

All tire sizes bear the so-called "snowflake symbol", which is mandatory in parts of Europe as proof of winter capability. On the EU tire label, the AllSeason-Grip 2 is predominantly rated B and C for wet grip and C for rolling resistance. All sizes are rated B for rolling noise.
